The next generation anode material is drawing attention due to the recent increase in demand for lightening secondary batteries and fast charging. The core characteristics of anode material are large capacity, long life, charging and discharging efficiency, and the direction of development of next-generation anode material is attempted to store more lithium ions per unit weight while maintaining the basic anode material structure. Representative attempts are modified graphite, using silicon with high theoretical capacity, or Li metal.
