Battery performance can be determined by the cell configuration design. Indeed, the energy density and safety characteristics vary depending on the cylindrical cell, the pouch type cell, and the prismatic cell. In addition, when designing a battery, the form and combination of the electrode and the electrolyte should be considered depending on the shape of the cell. As various factors as above should be considered when designing a battery, we intend to design a reasonable battery structure based on understanding of the fundamental background.
